I need computer help?

ok my ex-bf was kinda sick and he came over 2 my house beacuse he didnt have a computer and he looked at porno. now he got a virus in my computer.how do i get rid of it? i have avast antivirus. and my computer alredy has a problem but i dont really worry about it beacuse i dont need it all day. i cant turn it on sometimes but thats a different story. rite now, i only need help getting rid of the virus. please help. its all my sick ex-bf's fault!

go to http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ run it twice or more if it finds more viruses. you should then run ad aware. then try to reload your anti virus. If these wont run you may need to reformat.

you can also scan on line with panda anti virus called active scan

once you find the virus(es) remove as directed and rescan.

If you can turn it on, do a spy ware and virus scan in safe mode. As soon as you turn the computer on start hitting F8 or F5 until you get a screen that gives you the option for safe mode. Then try to do the scans, if this is effective, go on line and download www.housecall.trendmicro.com and run this it takes a little while but it's free and does a decent job. If that doesn't work you will have to reformat or do a disk recovery which will wipe out everything including anything you've added aftermarket so think about it before you do it. Good Luck!
You are really screwed up. Sorry to say it so bluntly but baby you got it bad. If i were you I would scrub that system and rebuild it from the ground up. And make that ex of yours wear a condom next time he touches your mouse!
