Restore to fix problem?

twice my p.c,s monitor has just switched off unexpected,once while installing a game and then while doing a virus scan

i have been thinking why this is happening,i have completed a virus scan since and everything is clear,also there is no spyware to report

this problem occured last night around 21-00 hrs,so would a system restore rectify this problem,or should i reinstall my display drivers?

note:since i installed avg,and uninstalled avast there has been no monitor blackouts

have a look at you power options in control panel ( turn of monitor )

set it longer or to never

If you haven't altered anything and you say it's behaving now you may have an intermittent fault with the monitor
