This is just a rumor Threatfire is a decent anti-virus and it works differently than others

Threatfire free antivirus?spyware remove

I have used "ThreatFire, before it was sold to PC tools out of Australia. No the software does not give trojans.. It is software to prevent "zero day attacks". (Meaning trojans viruses that come out before your antivirus people have the chance to write a signature for the virus).

I really did not need the software as my own antiviurs out of Beijing, China performs the same task.

Threatfire will not give you trojans! It is made by a reputable company and I doubt they would want to ruin their reputation by having embedded trojans. Honestly, if you are using avast! it is more or less useless! I had it on my computer for one hour and and I saw that it was exhausting too many cpu cycles for the limited coverage it offers. If you really want something to protect you in the background that is effective yet completely "silent" until some malware attacks; try BoClean. It is great and extremely light on the resources and effective.
