I keep having a system error. It states that my computer is infected.?

I was trying to look at the victoria lindsay vid and was redirected to a malware removal page. Now evertime I search or change pages I am redirected to the some spyware removal page. The system error box pops up a few times each time I change pages also.

I have tried my virus protection software (AVAST), spybot S%26D, and Ad Aware with no success. I would appriciate all the help I can get with this. Let me know if more details are needed. I run XP. Browser is IE.

Good luck!
Try using Firefox =)
Avast! is not a very good anti-virus. Do a clean uninstall of Avast! and restart when asked to. Sign up for a free trial of Kaspersky Internet Security at:http://usa.kaspersky.com/trials/home-use...

Download, install, and update it to the latest definitions. On the full scan option, put the heuristics to high and turn the "scan all files option on" instead of the "scan new and changed files only" option. Turn off your system restore and boot into safe mode before doing the full scan. After you are done scanning, delete everything that Kaspersky finds, and reboot when necessary. Then, download SuperAntiSpyware at:

http://www.superantispyware.com/superant...

Install it and manually update it. Do a full scan of your computer and delete everything that the program sees as a threat. You should now be clean of any malware. But to make sure, download HijackThis at:

http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/progr...

and remove anything that you deem suspicious.
