Does anyone know of a good free anti-spyware program to use?

I'm currently using avast anti-virus and am looking for something to run with it. If anyone knows of a free anti-spyware program out there that won't slow my computer down and updates itself I would greatly appreciate it.

Adaware is pretty good. There's also Spybot Search %26 Destroy.

I would advise staying away from Spyware Sweeper - I had it on my computer and had so many problems with it. For one, it started bogging down my computer and took forever to load up initially, and second it missed stuff.

And to John, don't lull yourself into a false sense of security; the biggest reason that very few Macs get viruses is because they're still only about 5-10% of computers (not sure of the exact statistic). Viruses are designed to affect the maximum amount of computers. Now that Macs are getting more popular (or at least there's more hype about them), I can just see the virus coders at their computers waiting for their opportunity. =D

SpywareBlaster. It doesn't have automatic updates (at least mine doesn't), but you can update it about once a month.
I like ad-aware. It always scans for viruses and spyware which are the worst. Here is the link to download it, it works well just scan your cp at least twice a week to keep it clean and running quickly.
