How do I delete a zipped/compressed file?

I downloaded a program, and hours later my computer tells me I have a trojan virus, and offers anti-virus software...but they want me to pay for it! And I would get blank page when I clicked on "Internet Explorer."

I downloaded AVG and Avast, and they hopefully got rid of the virus but I'm still seeing a pop-up. Itried to download the program I wanted again, but from CNET and a window opened titled "zipped," it contain the program I downloaded. I figured I would delete and try again, just in case it had a virus...but it won't delete.

You may have Vundo, download Vundo remover:

Deleting a zipped/compressed file is done the same as deleting any ordinary file.

Use the Vundo remover, also I suggest downloading S%26D Search %26 Destroy and look for registry and spyware problems.

I bet on the Vundo though, try it, hope it helps.

click on the file and click delete. if it wont delete it is because it is self replicating and you need to find out how to clean your comp or get someone in to do it (i recommend it)
