My OS is Vista Home Premium and I have

norton 360

avast

ad-aware

spybot search and destroy

is there any thing else that will help me out for the virus and other bad stuff? (free software is great)

dont overkill your system i use

windows firewall ( im behind a router anyway)

avg free edition

spybot search and destroy

all free and i never have any problems

but saying that i know what to click and what not to click but avg has found loads of bugs in my downloads and has alway delt with them

dont be tempted to use more than 1 av product same goes with firewalls more is not better they can conflict with each other you can have as many spyware scaners as you like if there not constantly monitoring your system
u can use any of them but check it out that whether it is compatible to windows vista

becoz same problem is faced by me

i m using symantec antivirus 10.0 and it is not compatible to vista but it is compatible to windows xp
