A virus problem???

Its from the website, it keeps on coming appearing as I am browsing and alerting me of a virus (that it wants to automatically scan it for me if I click on Yes). Please help, how do I get rid of it - I have avast 4.8 and AVG 8 but they are no good.

Use some other software. Ad-aware, Spybot, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at http://fixit.in/antivirus.html and http://fixit.in/spywareremover.html . You can also run a free registry scan using utilities from http://re7.info

Run msconfig.exe and see what is running in your startup

programs.(Start at the task bar --Run Box) type in msconfig.exe. Run task manager. Check add/remove to delete the program if present. Look in your program files directory or your main directory for this adware or malware program. Download and run ccleaner and spybot.
Simply download spybot searcha %26 destroy and super anti spyware.

Restart ur pc and press F8 rapidly than chose "start in safe mode" scan ur computer with the programs ONE at a time ( Don't scan with both of them at the SAME TIME).

Than remove anything it finds and restart ur pc to go to normal windows.

I recomen you to use firfox for your internet browser its better Than IE (my opinion) :P.
